GST on Insurance: Opposition Calls for Relief, Check Tax Rates and Premiums

Opposition leaders from INDIA bloc, including TMC, Congress, AAP, and NCP-SC, protested at Parliament, demanding a rollback of the 18% GST on life and health insurance premiums. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has also called for a reduction, urging the FM to reconsider the tax burden on policyholders.
